Earlier today, I looked outside and there was no sun, so the color was gray. I texted Rebel and I said, “I am so grateful. I have hobbies to keep me busy while I am doing laundry. Otherwise, my day will be gray, as that’s the color of the outside.”
I love brightness. I love colors. And even if gray is a color, I find it flat. It doesn’t have that upbeat vibe.
I am at home, taking pictures of Steve Madden’s handbags that I am going to list on my online store.
Rebel is in California, and he was on his way to Nevada when he spotted the rainbow. So he took a picture of it and sent it to me.
My partner will usually send me pictures of his scenery when necessary. And to me, I do appreciate that very much. I don’t travel much often with him nowadays as I have my own thing I have to do. So whenever he is on the road, I am busy running errands or I am at home working on my business.
When he sent me a picture, I always stop what I am doing to look at it, except when I am driving. Then that’s where I look at it when I stop.
Right away, I like it, but the more he sent, the more I started to notice the transition of the rainbow. I even told him, “Looks like you’re gonna hit the end of the rainbow.”
He sent me that double rainbow.
I ask him, “Where is that place, babe?” And his response was, “It is here in Colusa.”
I continued taking pictures and editing my purses because that was the last conversation we had that day.
