Rockit’s “100 Ways of Barbie Thinking”

Barbie's Adventures in Storytelling Galore

As I spilled the beans in one of my blog posts, every now and then, I’ll dish out tales about my pals instead of yours truly. This way, you get the scoop on my inner circle. These buddies are my ride-or-die crew, always shooting me a text or email, no matter how swamped or globetrotting I might be.

Let me introduce you to a dynamic duo I absolutely adore: Rockit n Rebel. Usually, it’s Rockit who pops up with a friendly “Hi” whenever I cross her mind. I’ve hit the open road with them, trucking along just to soak up the nomadic lifestyle.

It was a blast cruising with them, parking overnight, and waking up in a different state each morning. It’s like camping but with the luxury of AC, a heater, bunk beds, a refrigerator, and your own scenic window view.

Tagging along with them meant pit stops galore, sampling local eats in whatever state we happened to be. I dove into thrifting, antiquing, and the best part—meeting a cornucopia of characters from all walks of life.

I tend to chatter on when I cross paths with fellow business folks, since I’m a jack-of-all-trades kind of cuteness (lol).

Since I’m not behind the wheel, I seize the chance to catch a Live Marketing Training session from the rolling highway!

But this blog post isn’t about road-tripping; it’s about something equally intriguing. While on vacation, Rockit stumbled upon a treasure trove of vintage Barbie trading cards from yesteryear, including the very first Barbie card in both English and another language!

She texted me a pic with a cheeky note saying, “You popped into my mind, Barbie, in a hundred different ways.”

How fun is it to have a pal who’s into trading cards of ME?

Her final text was a giggle, sharing how she was thrilled to unwrap them, even if some wrappers were glued to the cards thanks to age, and then meticulously sorted them by year.

I sure miss Rockit n Rebel, but I know we’ll be hitting the road again in a few months.

Stay tuned for my next adventure.

Love,
Barbie
