I was at the Post Office as I dropped two packages from one customer who bought two expensive purses.
On my way out, I just happened to look on my left and I found this lovely postcard.
It was a postcard from Andelin Family Farm advertising that their Sunflower Festival 2026 was approaching in three days.
Since we were both home, I told my partner, “let’s go and do it.” The first time I went to the same event was in 2023 while this is Rebel’s first time.
Adventure in general is not just about going far places, as there is always something going on in my hometown, and exploration is even inside my house.
We went the first day it opened, and it was nice because there weren’t many people, being a weekday.
Bees and sunflowers were everywhere and they came in different sizes from yellow to a mix of slight orange and white.
We walked around, taking pictures and videos of the contrast — sun rays hitting the yellow petals, green leaves and stems, brown soil, and lavender scattered throughout.
What we thought an hour was actually ended up two hours because the feeling of being in nature was therapeutic.
