Whenever I go thrifting, I usually don’t have any ideas in mind. I go out to have a good time for myself because I needed that in order for me to find the flow that I needed to be creative. On this particular day, what I thrifted is something unexpected, and this is my feature for today.
I was not thinking about looking for stuffed toys to begin with. So finding them is an event I did not plan.
The first one I found on the collectible area, one on the toy section, there is also another one on footwear section, another one on the book section. They are all over the place like it was placed in random places just for me to collect them all.
It is a truly treasure hunt made for me which caught my attention when I found the second one.
So it is a treasure hunt itself, and I was not expecting that, which made me think it is mine to hunt them.
They do have different prices started from $1.99 to $2.99, but I don’t know which is which, but the price doesn’t bother me as I have a 30% off discount anyway.
Before I head to the front to pay, as a habit, I usually will go around the entire store for last glance in case there is something I missed or something showed up while I was on the other aisle.
My cart was full of stuff, random stuff, because it’s always been the theme when I go thrifting.
When I brought them home, some I already removed the tags while some still hanging. One thing for sure though, is few of them are on top of my drawers while still on a box.
Although some are cuter than others, the most striking one is that Cane wearing a candy cane with sunglasses.
Collecting stuffed toys that resonated with me like of those bears with the cause like ex. Bears for cancer, or bears for Alzheimer’s, which I already sold, are the types that interest me as well.
I also have those Serta sheeps, Sinclair the Dinosaur, the mascot for Sinclair gasoline, and few of the Victoria’s Secret stuffed toys, and even few of the Target Bullseye stuffed toys.
I collect them just because I tend to find them like of that Cane’s dogs stuffed toys.
As a thrifter looking for something to sell, the randomness of things I find is wonderful and I know the excitement I felt will keep going.
