I picked up a book the other day called “100 Ways To Improve Your Writing” by Gary Provost.
The first sentence of the introduction is “This book will help you write better ransom notes.”
Totally unexpected, yet oddly relevant.
There’s a lot of wisdom in that sentence.
It made me think of all the hyped up courses out there that promise to teach you how to “control the minds of your prospects” and “literally force people to buy from you.”
Do you honestly believe that you can take control of someone’s mind and make them do something they don’t want to do?
Here’s a better question…
If you could do that, would you want to?
Wouldn’t that be the same as pulling a gun and taking their money?
That’s no way to earn a living.
There’s better and faster ways to do it.
And without scamming anyone.
