To continue on a peaceful path of opening our heart to self-love, let us remember to not be distracted by an unbalanced need for external approval.
We must show ourselves unwavering love and respect.
We must learn to appreciate with gratitude toward ourselves regardless of what others think.
Look to be your own anchor in any type of weather.
If you tie your happiness to the shifting currents of other’s perceptions and goals, you will be blown off course, unable to chart your happiness.
Listen to what the critics say; and if you determine changes are needed, make them.
But, don’t allow yourself to be dragged down into despair and self-hatred.
Be kind and gentle.
Self-love is always the way.
This is the path to personal peace.
