COMPUTER’S LOG, BOOP SHIP, MISSION 013
It was late on the Boop Ship. Everybody was asleep except Gasket, our night mechanic. He is a small robot with grease on him that never comes off.
Gasket built a motorcycle. He loaded a diner program in The Boop Dream Room so he could test it. A place called the Comet.
He never got the chance. Betty walked in, climbed on the bike before he could, and gave a wink.
“Let’s go for a ride.”
I watched from the control panel. The Comet sign lit up blue. She took the first road out, and it brought her back to the Comet. She took another road. The Comet again.
