My first curiosity started with, when was he born, what year, and when did he die, in what year? What I found out about President Eisenhower, he was born in October 1890, became President in January 1953 and died in March 1969. The dates were different from the date in the letter as well as the stamp and the postmark of August 6, 1970.
Where those dates led me, from a snowy midnight tunnel in Colorado to a coin on my desk, is waiting on my Facebook page.
