My buddy Dave is a Vietnam vet.
He loves telling all kinds of crazy stories.
Here’s one that stuck with me most:
There was an APC (armored personnel carrier) that had slid off the road and into a ditch. It was stuck. It seemed like we’re going to be there forever. Now we had to wait for the rescue vehicle to come and pull us out.
But the commander had a different plan. He wanted us to push it out. I told him it couldn’t be done. APC weighed in at about 12 tons. There’s no way this is going to work.
Meanwhile, the commander yells out to everyone to put a shoulder to the APC and push.
In about 4 seconds, we pushed the APC back onto the road.
Crazy, huh?

How the heck did that happen?
Anytime someone tells me something won’t work – I’ll do anything to prove them wrong.
