Half and Half

It’s been a week now since I started sorting and selling my coins on Ebay and within a couple of hours I sold one.

It’s a $.50 and turned it into $40.00.

Not so savy for a beginner I should say.

The following day I sold another one.  This time it’s a quarter from the 1960 and sold it for $10.00.

The other night I decided to sort all the quarters and realized something that might increase my profit.

I’ve noticed there were newer coins from the 1960’s that  can potentially sell higher.

1Instead of selling them “As Is”, how about buying a coin holder for all the coins that are shiny and in minted condition.

Therefore, I started browsing for coins holder on Ebay.

There’s so much choices and some have decent price and some are really expensive.

Since I am new to this and don’t have much money to buy the expensive one, my choice was to get those that were made of cardboard.

I order 100 assorted pieces only to find out I need to order more but this time is just for quarters.

Every day I anticipated its arrival and finally it arrived today.

I was excited and opened it right away.

I picked up one coin holder jus for quarters only and it came out really cool.

The one in the picture is one example of a 1963 Washington quarter that is in Gem condition.

Why in gem condition?

Well, this one look so new, no scratches, shiny luster and it has a good appeal in the eye.

Now that’s what I call thinking smart.

I don’t do a half and half job when it comes to lots of things.

Therefore, this experienced is how I can leverage my profit and will a small investment I just increase its value.

Do you think so?
