Today’s road trip mission to Utah: channel my inner explorer in the quaint little towns along the way and do a life swap with city living!
Cruising down I-80, I paused in a sleepy town that whispered serenity. It felt like life hit the snooze button here. I parked by a bakery, soaking up the slow-paced vibes. In Lovelock, everyone strolls because everything’s a hop, skip, and a jump away.
Swapped my boots for sneakers, and off I went, dodging friendly greetings like confetti. A smile parade on every corner!
After an hour, back on the road, nature called—loudly.
Next pit stop:
Valmy. A Chevron oasis by the highway caught my eye. Plus, a bonus rest area across the street. Chevron it was!
Surprise! A lone post office kept it company. My unwritten rule of bathroom courtesy? Grab a snack on the way out. Enter: Blue Bunny ice cream. Yummo!
Then, a candy counter shocker! Scorpions in see-through lollipops, sour cream crickets, deep-fried ants—oh my!
The cashier grinned, “What do you think?”
“Fascinating,” I thought, as I snagged the whole lot, driven by sheer curiosity!
Sixty minutes later, I cruised up to my hotel, smack dab beside tomorrow’s grand shindig.
Who’s the star of the show?
Yours truly!
Why me, you ask?
Well, I’m all about seizing those money-making moments because I’ve got entrepreneur written all over my heart!
