It sounds so good, doesn’t it?

Multiple income streams.

Lots of ways to make money, all going on at once.

On complete autopilot, of course.

It’s a load of crap.

All in a day’s work for a guru that wants to make more sales by blinding his sheep to the reality of an online marketing business.

Recently I came across a marketer that was selling a cool product.

I bought it and attended a couple of webinars on the subject.

Then, suddenly, it all went sideways.

The guys running the show decided to start teaching all kinds of different stuff.

Facebook, Instagram, etc.

What happened to the product I bought?

How does it tie in to all this new training?

They started sending me new offers every other day that had nothing to do with the reason I was following them in the first place.

I unsubscribed from their emails, quit attending their webinars, and now I want nothing to do with them.

The whole experience made me feel like they’d slap their name on any offer they could attach an affiliate link to.

I bet they make a lot of money, but what about their customers?

Isn’t it obvious to them that the marketers in question will sell them anything to make a buck?

And how could those marketers possibly know if any of those offers were any good?

They certainly weren’t taking the time to go through them and test the training or tools.

I don’t know about you, but that’s not the kind of marketer I want to be.

How many streams of income do you have now?

Doesn’t it make more sense to concentrate on establishing a single income stream before running off in all directions at once?

Multiple streams of aggravation is the old way.

Committed focus and consistently pursuing a single course of action is the new way.

It’s not the new way for business in general.

It’s the new way for online marketers who are sick of all the hype and want to build their business on a solid foundation.

Whether you’re an affiliate or a networker, the best results are produced by those marketerts who focus on one objective at a time.

Focus will make you an expert in your field, and your customers will recognize that you’re the one to go to for answers.

You can make a lot of money by hawking every new offer that comes out.

But that’s a sure way to alienate your customers and make them see you as just another “me-too!” marketer.

Take the new path.

Focus your business in one direction and develop long-term faithful customers.

Once you decide what you’ll focus on, you’ll find everything you need to build your business right here.

It may not be what everyone else is doing.

But when was that ever a good idea?
