It’s been roughly four years now since the last time I went metal detecting and I miss it.

As you know, life will take us to lots of directions and we can follow that or ignore it.

In my case I decided to go with the flow because life is calling  me to make a change.

In in that change my hobby of metal detecting also stopped.

To me, metal detecting was an exhilarating hobby because most people specially women will not do it because they just don’t.

Lot’s of them are not equipped to stay under the sun all day and they don’t like being on the dirt.

I guess that goes also for men (lol).

Metal Detecting satisfied my hunger of  doing something enjoyable that’s away from civilization.11150327_1582237265388792_1485603064542071400_n

I been through Rye Patch in Winnemucca.

I been through Majuba mountain and parks and beaches and even saw a cave dwelling.

I was excited holding the gadget and going “Gaga” every time I hear the machine make such a noise that it detected something in the ground.

However, most of the items that I found was bottle caps, rusty nails and foils.

But in exchange of all that garbage that I found I gained many knowledge in my journey.

I became familiar with animal footprints in the wilderness.

I also saw lots of open pit that could suck anyone underground if they are not careful

This brought me the main reason why I wrote this blog.

I realized today metal detecting was like hunting for coins without a metal detector.

Like metal detecting I also spend lots of hours at night researching, compiling information on what to look for for when it comes to rare coins.

Sometimes I forgot to eat and I really stayed past midnight listing my coins.

Also, I sold my metal detector last year as it was just sitting in my garage.

At this time I have no use for it as my life is taking me to such a wonderful journey.

And I love being part of it.
