Take a look at him

Blog Entry on Duke Kahanamoku

The process of blogging about Duke in January has been slow for me, primarily due to competing priorities that demand immediate attention. In the midst of this, I discovered the intriguing world of jewelry auctions. Although I anticipated completing this exploration quickly, I found myself captivated not only by the styles but also by the colors and designs. Zooming in on the intricate details further mesmerized me.

Just when I thought I had concluded my auction pursuits, another layer of appreciation for each piece of jewelry began to unfold. I stumbled upon some remarkable finds offered at surprisingly low prices—so affordable, in fact, that I felt as though they were practically free. Some sellers even provided bags of extras. I am still immersed in this enchanting experience, which is helping me identify my personal style.

As I prepare to sell these pieces, the process of displaying them on my mannequin, videotaping, and listing them is time-consuming, yet I find joy in the creative aspect of it.

Can you sense my excitement about jewelry?

However, this is not the primary topic I intended to discuss.

Regarding the slowdown in blogging about Duke, it seems to be affecting my progress. Interestingly, he has interacted with me in my dreams several times. What I find particularly delightful is that he appears not in his swimming trunks but dressed in a Hawaiian shirt. While I don’t remember the details of our conversations, I recall snippets about his life in Hawaii. His voice resonates in my head with a profound clarity and a gentle authority, accompanied by a Hawaiian accent.

During my waking hours, I have encountered small black-and-white images of the Natatorium while browsing online, further signaling that it is time for me to resume my blogging efforts.

And oh, this will be another blog and I have a longer story about it.

Today’s blog post discusses a striking image I found online, which differs significantly from most of his more popular photographs.

Upon analyzing this remarkable image, it appears that he has just finished competing.

His hair, still damp, adds to the authenticity of the moment. As I gaze into his eyes, I perceive an intensity and sharpness that is captivating. The definition of his muscular arms suggests he is not yet fully relaxed. These features—his eyes and arms—speak volumes about their owner, presenting a rare glimpse in my opinion.

I do hope to come across a real photograph or even a magazine clipping featuring this same image, as it would be a wonderful addition to my collection.

I must acknowledge that my featured stories vary in length; sometimes I share brief narratives, while other times I incorporate personal experiences related to him. With that said, I look forward to our next discussion.
