When someone frequently asserts “they don’t have time at this moment,” it starts to feel like an excuse more than a truth.
Instead of sympathy, I find myself confused.
If you do not know where I am heading let me tell you a story.
I know several individuals who claim they lack the time to pursue their interests, yet they spend hours parked in front of the television.
Similarly, some might dedicate significant portions of their day to gaming or taking naps out of boredom.
Moreover, there are those who habitually assert “I have no time,” only to expose themselves when the story shifts.
It is important to acknowledge that some individuals genuinely have limited time due to prioritizing their commitments, while the activities they claim to lack time for are of lesser importance to them.
What I have come to believe about the phrase “I have no time” is that it often reflects a lack of motivation, a misalignment of priorities, disinterest, or simply the belief that everything can wait forever.
I find it perplexing that many people choose to evade the truth rather than express their genuine circumstances. Why is it that so few individuals are willing to be forthright?
Where does a person go inside their own mind when the truth gets too uncomfortable to say out loud?
